Fun in the Snow

This afternoon after Todd and Blake picked me up from work (thankfully, I got to leave a 3pm) we all got suited up to play in the snow. Blake went for his first sled ride today. He was a little nervous, but smiled the whole time. We didn't get to stay out very long since it was raining. We're hoping to get out in it tomorrow.

Blake would like to tell Aunt Ashley & Uncle Josh "Thanks" for his new cell phone. He likes to carry it around in his pocket just like Daddy. He even took it out a the Donut Bank this morning to make a phone call.

Mommy & Blake Time

Today Blake and I got to spend some good quality time together. While Todd and David went to Whittaker's, Blake and I hit the mall. We shared lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then rode the carousel. He loves to ride the "neigh neigh's". I've had to work a lot of hours and weekends lately and the "Mom Guilt" has set in. So today was a good cure for that.

Hard At Work

Today Blake and I enjoyed just haning out together. He went with me to get my haircut and was an angel. Then we met Todd for lunch at Blake's favorite place. You guessed it, McDonalds! Once Todd got home for work, Blake was ready for some "guy time". He told me that he was going to work hard and need his work boots on to get the job done. I am so thankful for my days off work so that I can enjoy a part of Blake's life I don't normally get to be a part of.

Introducing Brady Andrew Elfreich

Yesterday our good friends Andy & Jess Elfreich became the proud parents of Brady Andrew! He is absoultely adorable and perfect. Brady, Mom, and Dad are doing great. Congrats Andy & Jess!

Say Ahh!

Tonight my God Daughter Cassie came over selling Girl Scout Cookies. Todd had to buy 4 boxes of his favorite (peanut butter sandwiches). They'll been gone in 2 days! Blake had a great time. He got to play for a couple of hours with Cassie and John. Todd and I enjoyed it too, since we got to have adult conversation with Betsy and Mark.

Under Constructon

We have started another project at our house. We are in the process of finishing our basement. Our plans are to add a full bath and a family room. As Blake gets older his toys seem to grow in number and size all the meanwhile, I think my house gets smaller.

This is my first attempt...

Okay, here it goes! After months of checking out Jennifer's blog I have decided to attempt one myselft. I love getting to see how their family is doing. Blake really enjoys it too, especially when he finds himself in one of the pictures. He is always asking to see his cousins "in the computer". It may take me awhile to get the hang of this, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
